FEATURED ATHLETE

Normann Stadler

On October 16th 2004, Normann Stadler was the winner of the Ironman Triathlon World Championship Hawaii. His time: 8:33:01 hours. After Thomas Hellriegel, Normann Stadler was the second German to succeed in Hawaii. On July 10th 2005, Stadler also won the Opel Ironman Frankfurt / Main, Gemany.

During the 27th Ironman World Championship Hawaii in the year 2005, Normann Stadler was forced to give up the race in the pole position due to two flat tyres while his compatriot Faris al Sultan became the third German winner of Hawaii. Normann would have his redemption.

Starting off the 2006 Ironman World Championships with a 54:05 swim, he then set the standard on the bike. Once on the course, Normann managed to gain over 10 minutes on the chase pack, setting a bike course record at 4:18:23 (26 mph). Finishing with a marathon split of 2:55:02, Normann sealed his overall victory of the 2006 Ironman World Championships.

This year, Stadler begins racing for Dresdner Kleinwort. The company’s corporate design in the colours of green and white are branded on Norman’s clothing and triathlon equipment. We look forward to our relationship with Normann as he continues to grow on an already illustrious career.
